(6)Press the center buttonon the receiver once to turn it on, so that the red light on the right appears. Press the center buttonthermostat once to turn it on.
Increase the target temperature of the thermostat above the ambient temperature using the arrows and confirm it with the thermostat'sbutton. You will see that the icon remains fixed on the screen.
Receiver lights color code
PAIRING STATUS LIGHT FLASHES FAST in YELLOW: The thermostat is communicating with the receiver. FLASHES SLOWLY in YELLOW: The thermostat has not been paired correctly. | POWER LIGHT FIXED in RED: The thermostat is on. FIXED in GREEN: The thermostat forced start is active. |
WARMING STATE FIXED in GREEN: The ignition order is being sent to the boiler. NO LIGHT: The ignition order is not being sent to the boiler. |
Settings and configuration
From the thermostat configuration menu you can adjust some parameters that will adapt the device to your needs. To access the menu, follow these steps:
On the thermostat, press and hold the center buttonfor 3 seconds to access the configuration menu.
On the thermostat, press and hold the center button for 3 seconds until "OFF" appears on the display. | On the thermostat, press and hold the center buttonfor 3 seconds to access the configuration menu. |
You must use the arrows to modify the desired values. | You must use the buttonto move to the next configurable parameter. Then you must press to confirm the changes and exit the menu. |
Please note that if no buttons are pressed for more than 10 seconds, the thermostat will exit the settings mode without saving changes.
Below we show you each parameter and explain its operation in detail:
FUNCTION 1: CALIBRATE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL It is possible that we need to adjust the temperature differential to compensate the temperature shown by the thermostat with respect to the “real” temperature (for example, the one shown by a thermometer that we want to take as a reference). Calibrating the temperature differential also allows us to adjust the temperature whenIn a room we have a small temperature difference between one place and another.
FUNCTION 2: MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE LIMIT We can define a maximum temperature limit, so that a higher temperature cannot be programmed. For example, if we set "25ºC" as a limit, we will not be able to select a temperature beyond that set limit.
FUNCTION 3: MINIMUM TEMPERATURE LIMIT We can define a minimum temperature limit, so that we cannot lower it below the temperature that we configure. For example, if we select "10º" as the lower limit, we could not select one below this set limit.
FEATURE 4: SCREEN DISPLAY TIME We can adjust the time in which the screen remains on. This can be 5, 10 or 15 seconds. You cannot select a different period or configure the screen to stay on permanently.
FUNCTION 5: HYSTERESIS Hysteresis is a temperature range that determines the starts and stops of the boiler once the desired temperature is reached. If the desired temperature were, for example, 22ºC and there was no hysteresis margin, the boiler would start as soon as there was an ambient temperature difference of 0.1ºC (21.9ºC) with respect to the desired temperature. This would make the boiler start and stop very frequent, making the operation of the thermostat very inefficient from an energy point of view. However, with the hysteresis adjustment you can define a temperature differential for start-up of between 0.5ºC – 3ºC. So, if the desired temperature is set to 22ºC and a hysteresis of 1ºC, the boiler will operate until the ambient temperature reaches 23ºC and will not be activated again until the ambient temperature drops 1ºC below the desired temperature (21ºC). . This reduces frequent start-ups and stops and contributes to energy savings in your home.
FUNCTION 6: ON/OFF PROGRAM Enables or disables the use of programming mode.
FUNCTION 7: PROGRAMMING PERIODS/TIME SLOTS Using this option we can select the configuration of hourly farms that we want for each day (4 or 6).
FUNCTION 8: SMART FUNCTION ON/OFF Through this parameter you can activate or deactivate the intelligent function of the thermostat. That is, the early ignition of the boiler so that the programmed temperature is reached at the desired time, instead of starting the boiler at the stipulated time.
FUNCTION 9: ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION This configuration allows us to activate or deactivate the frost protection mode. When this option is active, if the room temperature is below 5ºC, the thermostat starts frost protection mode. When the temperature exceeds 8ºC the boiler will stop. Under this operating mode no other options will be executed, for example, programming. |
OTHER FUNCTIONS
OPEN WINDOWS FUNCTION The Open Windows function turns off the heating automatically if the room temperature drops 4.5ºC in 4 minutes. If the temperature rises again by 1.5ºC or more than 48 minutes pass without any change, the Open Windows function is automatically deactivated. You can also manually turn off the Windows Open feature by pressing any button on the thermostat.
FORCED START-UP The Forced Start function allows you to turn on the heating if the thermostat unit is damaged or unusable. To activate it, press the center button of the receiver for more than 8 seconds. You will see a solid green light appear on the indicator light on the right of the receiver and you will hear the relay activating. To deactivate the relay, press the center button once of the receiver. |
Time adjustment
Your thermostat has a factory default time and schedule, but you can modify both settings to suit your needs and current calendar. To set the time you must follow these steps:
Press and hold the watch button for a few seconds thermostat, to enter the time setting screen. Now in the time settings, use the arrows to select the time and the clock button to confirm. | A "Y" will appear in the center of the screen to set the year. Use the arrowsto select the correct year and confirm by pressing . A "T" will appear in the center of the screen to set the time, choosing first the minutes and then the hour. Use the arrowsto choose and confirm by pressing. A "d" will appear in the center of the screen to set the day. Use the arrowsto select the day and confirm by pressing. A "m" will appear in the center of the screen to set the month. Use the arrows to select the month and confirm by pressing. |
After completing all the steps, press to confirm and exit the time setting screen. |
Manual thermostat programming
First, check that you have configured the configuration parameters correctly 6 (ON / OFF programming) and 7 (Programming periods / Time slots).
Subsequently, access the programming menu and follow these steps:
1. With the thermostat on, press and hold the button3 seconds. | 2. You must use the arrows to modify the desired values. | 3. You must use the buttonto go to the next configurable parameter (programming periods, hours and temperatures). |
Now we will tell you how to configure the temperature and time of each programming period using the first one as an example:. Remember to repeat the following steps as many times as the programming periods you have chosen in the configuration.
1. With the thermostat on, press and hold the buttonApproximately 3 seconds to access the programming menu.
2. Use the arrowsto choose the day or set of days (M-S, M-F, S-S) on which the schedule will be active. press the buttonto continue.
3. Use the arrowsto choose the start time of the first scheduling period. press the buttonto continue.
4. Use the arrowsto choose the desired temperature of the period. press the buttonto continue.
5. You will see that now the thermostat enables the next programming period so that you can configure them in the same way as you did with the first one..
6. Adjust the values of the rest of the programming periods o according to your needs.
7. When you finish setting up the last scheduling periodpress the buttonto confirm the changes and save the programming.
Example of programming in 4 sections:
Your boiler will turn on if the ambient temperature in your home is below 20ºC from 6:00 until 8:00. Between 8:00 and 18:00, your boiler will turn on if the ambient temperature in your home is below 16ºC. Between 18:00 and 22:00, your boiler will turn on if the ambient temperature in your home is below 20ºC. Between 22:00 and 06:00 the next day, your boiler will turn on if the ambient temperature in your home is below 16ºC.
Tip: If you want less than 4 programming periods throughout the day, repeat the same desired temperature in some of the intermediate periods.
